Happy New Year and decade to you all.....

I wanted to express a special thanks to all of you who supported our special Winter Solstice class on December 21,2009. Its was beautifully lit up by your energy, generosity and light. The proceeds of the practice went to support our local Helpline House. A worthy organization that assists other families in our community. At this time of year they are very much in need and appreciate our support. I am happy to say that all contributions totaled $281.00. I have receipts for anyone who needs to document this for tax purposes.

2010 has begun in a great way....by waking into the laughter and light that is something new. As we embrace change in this coming year, we learn to relinquish the strong hold and attachment we place on things of varying importance. As we soften we can listen to what are bodies, minds and hearts are saying and the direction they have for us this year. When we place importance on things and experiences that are not life affirming, our path becomes cluttered and unclear. The unclarity can leave us feeling stagnant. Let your practice of yoga aid in the clarity and light up your heart to what is possible for you this year.
